Large Cap-Rouge ? bowl
Very nice Xtra large bowl attributed to the Cap-Rouge pottery. Out of a huge collection it was identified as a Cap-Rouge but my researches show quite a difference at the botoom there is absolutely no lips as we mostly see on the Cap-Rouge bowls seen in documents and books. 15.45 inches across and 6 inches high it is not cracked or broken but the outside glaze is all gone probably due to the humidity of the earth basement it came out in Vercheres originally about 40 years ago. Great piece and if you have any comments or details i will be glad to know and post them.
